• Lovingly made using 100% premium traditional Japanese denim Cotton. The denim fabric itself is made for Kiraku on rare old-fashioned shuttle looms. These old looms are small & the fabric comes in one-yard wide sheets. Like all things that are not rushed, this denim is better quality, better construction, so it lasts longer.
• In contrast to the vintage Japanese fabric, the Perfect Smock design is contemporary, we call it ‘engineered’ because (like all Kiraku designs) its carefully constructed & highly detailed to be functional, comfortable, wearable, stylish but above all unique 
• At Kiraku we chose to use this denim on this Perfect Smock with the hope, this way of making Japanese fabric is never forgotten & to also show that old fabrics can be used on clothes you would actually want to wear, every-day, anytime, everywhere at any occasion with anything.
